ARTCYCLED MOSAIC CLASSES 10/15/09 - Class update: No classes

I teach classes in Western Washington at my Studio in Seattle. I'm also happy to schedule a private class for a group of 6 or more students at my studio or
your location when I have availability in my schedule.
LEARN TO MOSAIC CLASS: Create your own
mosaic bird bath in this hands on class. During this two day or three evening class you
will learn a large variety of mosaic techniques including material selection, design,
cutting, mortaring and grouting plus you take home your own completed
bird bath (see sample images at left). All materials and tools
will be provided. Wear work clothes and bring a lunch on full days.
Saturdays and Sunday OR 3 weekday evenings.

ADVANCED CLASS OPTIONS
- BEYOND BASICS Mosaic Class*

- This class is intended for students who have general
mosaic experience and would like to create a more advanced project. Bring a pre-sealed base, ideas and pottery, tiles
or other objects to mosaic. We will design and layout your project, problem solve
and begin the mosaic process. Be prepared to
finish and grout your project after the class on your own.
Basic materials provided. Bases and
mosaic materials available for an additional fee.

- HOW TO CREATE A FLAT PANEL MOSAIC*
- No class currently scheduled - if you are interested in taking this class when it is
next scheduled let me know and I'll add you to
my email list.
- Perfect for tables and other surfaces that need to be
flat, the "reverse" process allows you to design a mosaic upside down to ensure
a flat surface, or when you can only work a small area at a time. Best with ceramic
or small glass tiles (not intended for china or curved pieces). Students will
complete samples and with basic mosaic experience you will be then ready to work on more
complex projects on your own.
